Import IdentityIQ Report

1 min read

Once you have added your client and are ready to import their credit report you will first want to log into IdentiyIQ so that you can download the report. You can easily store your clients credentials for IdentityIQ in the clients profile. From the Dashboard click Clients in the left hand menu. Once you have selected the client from the client list you can scroll down to the Credit Monitoring details and add or view the credentials.

You can now head over to IdentityIQ’s website to login to your clients profile. Once logged in you will want to view the credit report. When viewing the credit report you will see a Download Report link in the top right of the report.

Once you have the report downloaded you can navigate back to your portal and click Import Report in the left hand navigation menu, or you can click the green Import Report button when viewing your clients profile.

When you are on the Report Import page you can see that IdentityIQ will be selected and your client will already be listed. You can also use this page to search for any other client to import a report for. The browse for file link will open and allow you to search for the downloaded file you got from IdentityIQ’s website.

Once you have selected the downloaded report it will parse into the system to allow you to optionally work the file before saving to the database. You will see 5 blue buttons to allow you to choose what you would like to import.

  1. Import Entire Report – Imports all personal information, accounts (positive and negative), inquiries, and public records
  2. Import Personal Info – Imports only the alias names and previous addresses
  3. Import Negative Accounts & Inquiries – Imports only negative accounts and inquiries. You will still want to double check the inquiries you want to work before saving.
  4. Import Negative Accounts – Imports only negative accounts
  5. Import Inquiries – Imports only inquiries.

You are able to work the file before saving. Working the file would be for example adding the dispute reasons for each account you are wanting to work. You also have the option to delete any account that you do not want to work. The Global Dispute reason will set the dispute reason to be used for all bureaus that the account is listed on.

In addition to the account history you will also get Public Record history in addition to Credit Inquiry history from the past 2 years. You can unselect any inquiries you do not wish to work, or you can leave them checked. The Global Reason will set the dispute reason for all inquiries you are working.

Once you have finished working the file, or you just import and save the whole file without working it you can hit the Save Data button. This will apply all data to the clients profile for accounts.
